Class Rules and Information

Fees:
• Monthly fees are determined by class. Your first class is billed at the monthly rate. Additional classes/family members receive a $5/month discount.
• Fees are due the first class of each month. If tuition is not received by the 10th of the month, a $10 late fee will be assessed and participant may be excluded from class.
• No refunds will be given for missed classes. Monthly rates apply regardless of how many classes you attend each month.
• There is a one-time registration fee due at the time of registration, in the amount of $20 per student.
• Annual fees cover the cost of all costumes and performances throughout the year. Prices are detemined at the beginning of the year and must be paid in full by December 1st. 2008-09 Annual fees are: All Regular Classes- $175; Competition Teams- $500. Fundraising opportunities will be available to assist with these expenses.

Dress Code:
• You will be required to dress appropriately for all classes. Jeans are strictly forbidden. T-shirts are only allowed in classes where it is determined below. Failure to dress appropriately may be cause for participant to be asked to sit out.
• For dance classes, proper dance attire includes a leotard and tights, pink ballet shoes, black jazz shoes and black tap shoes. Hair should be pulled back away from face. A ballet skirt or jazz pants may be worn but is optional.
• For tumbling classes, a leotard or biketard should be worn. No shoes or socks allowed. If you wish to wear tights, they must be footless. Boys can wear sweats or shorts (no buckles or buttons) and a t-shirt. Long hair should be pulled away from face. Back ponytails or buns are not advisable, as they can hurt when rolling.
• Cheer classes wear shorts or sweats and t-shirts that allow easy movement, or dance clothes are great. White tennis shoes will be needed. Hair should be pulled back away from face.

Rules:
• No shoes or socks on the mats. Bare feet only.
• No food, drink or gum allowed in class.
• No toys of any kind are to be brought to class- this includes dolls or stuffed animals.
• No playing with or climbing on equipment.
• Students will be required to stay off all equipment and floor until teacher has started class. All students will line up outside studio door and wait until teacher lets them into the room for class to begin.
• No horseplay before, during, or after class.
• Any student not listening or following rules will be asked to sit out. If behavior persists, they will be asked to leave.
• Parents, siblings and friends are not alowed in the studio during class. You may watch through the observation windows provided.

These rules are set for everyone’s safety. Please review them with your child and make sure they understand them clearly. Thank you.

Liability Waiver:

By registering for classes with Che Performing Arts, you agree to the following:

• I agree to pay the monthly fee by the 10th day of each month or I/my child will not be allowed to participate in class and I will pay a $10 late fee. I also agree that I/my child will listen to the instructor and obey all rules as described to me/my child and listed above or be dismissed from class without a refund.


• I understand the class I/my child is participating in is a physical sport. As with all sports, there is a risk of injury. I agree to accept full responsibility and not hold Che Performing Arts Studio, Live Oak Ventures, Inc. or anyone associated with these companies liable for injuries that may take place while participating in class or on the premises.
